Los Banos City Links

Los Banos is an incorporated city in the County of Merced in California's Central Valley. The town, with current population estimated at 32,280, is growing at a 3 to 5 percent rate
per year. The city maintains the small town charm which is a characteristic of so many rural, farming communities. With an average temperature of 72 degrees, a comfortable and less expensive way of life can be found here.

Los Banos shopping opportunities continue to grow. Currently there are three shopping centers, and a charming tree-lined downtown district. Large chain retail operations include  Wal*Mart, JCPenney, SaveMart, Walgreens, Food-4-Less, KMart and a Sears Retail Dealer Store. Plans have been discussed for a Home Depot and Lowes to begin building in the next few years. Because of the high traffic volume on Pacheco Blvd. (State Route 152) there are numerous national fast food restaurants, and other
travel related businesses located there.
